Welcome to the UK Training Academy

The UK Training Academy provides accredited intensive training courses for those wishing to pursue a professional career in hypnotherapy.

We cover a comprehensive syllabus that meets the National Occupational Standards for Hypnotherapy published in 2002 by Skills for Health, the Government's Sector Skills Council for the UK health industry.

Our Hypnotherapy Practitioner certification course is run intensively in three blocks of 5 days that can be taken back to back or with a break in between. This format incorporates 450 hours of combined classroom tuition and directed independent study.

We also offer a weekend study option for those who prefer to study at a more relaxed pace. Please call for details.

Qualifications

On completion of the course our graduates receive the Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma, allowing them to use the post-nominal letters HPD.

This is a nationally recognised level 4 qualification. It is externally accredited by the National Council for Further Education (NCFE) as well as by the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH). Graduates therefore have their certification awarded by an independent, UK government National Accreditation body and the UK's largest Hypnotherapy Professional Society.

The NCH HPD is the only hypnotherapy qualification specifically mentioned on the UK government careers advice website.

Successful graduates of the Hypnotherapy Practitioner course will also receive the following certifications and use of post-nominal letters

• Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis (DipCAH)
• NLP Practitioner Certification (PNLP)

On completion of optional assessments graduates will also be awarded

• Specialist Certificate in Smoking Cessation
• Specialist Certificate in Treating Anxiety
• Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Practitioner Certificate

The HPD and DipCAH are accepted qualifications for professional membership of the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). These represent the largest professional hypnotherapy societies in the UK and USA respectively.
